- If the machine is made in a unique shape or appearance (not encompassing functional features) the shape or appearance can be a subject matter of Design.
- The brand name and logo can be a subject matter of Trademark. The user manual, service manual,
- Advertising material can be subject matter of Copyright.
- The semiconductor chips that the machine employs can be protected under the Semiconductor Circuits &
- Topography of Integrated Circuit Act.
- The employees or subcontractors/service providers, involved with the project may be subjected to Trade secret confidentiality and non-competition in the same area, for a period of at least Three years.
